Exhibitors at the Las Vegas Convention Center have the option to contract the I & D of their exhibit or can set up their display on their own. If set-up is executed by the exhibitor, it must be done by full-time employees that can produce company identification.
Teamsters Union Local #631 has jurisdiction for the loading and unloading of all trucks, trailers and contract carriers, as well as the handling of empty crates and the operation of material handling equipment.
Exhibitors and professional exhibit houses may hand carry material into the convention center provided drayage equipment is not needed for assistance. If hand carrying, exhibitors and staff may not access loading dock and freight door areas.
Electrical unions maintain jurisdiction over the installation, operation and dismantling of all electrical equipment, including: audio, projection and studio lighting, such as television cameras, monitors and plasmas; lighting control and dimming systems; and ground support and flown trussing.
Exhibitors may hang up to four small clip-on lights per total booth space. Anything beyond that must be executed by electrical unions.
